Standard Room (2 double beds) $109.00 per night single or double occupancy

Standard rooms have fridges in a small kitchen area and microwaves are available on request (as long as supply lasts). These are above average size rooms

The rate is in Canadian funds. Room tax in Ontario is 5% plus 7% GST which is charged in addition to the $109.00 rate.

 

Business Class Suites are also available $134.00 per night single or double occupancy

These suites have full kitchen facilities and are larger, more luxurious suites. The Business Suites come with complimentary full Canadian breakfast.

 

This block of rooms will be held for the conference until June 11, 2002, at which time the hotel will release the remaining portion of the room block to the reservations department for resale. The Ramada will continue to accept reservations beyond the cut-off data, according to availability, at the best available rate.

Ramada Hotel & Suites provides in-door and out-door parking at a rate of $8.00, inclusive of taxes, per automobile, per night. In and out privileges are unlimited.

Check in time is 4:00 pm. Checkout time is 12:00 noon.

The banquet on Friday evening, July 12th will be held in the Oxford Room of the Ramada Suites.

 

Ramada Hotel & Suites Ottawa is located on the banks of the historic Rideau Canal, yet just steps away from the bustling energy of Elgin Street where you will find many restaurants, night clubs and retail establishments. The Parliament Buildings are within easy walking distance from the hotel, as well as the National Arts Centre and the Ottawa Congress Centre.

The Ramada is situated at the East end of Cooper Street, very close to the Rideau Canal and the Queen Elizabeth Parkway. It is a quiet area with lots of walking paths nearby.

 

A chartered bus will provide transportation to and from the conference, twice daily, and the public transport is very accessible from this area to Carleton University.
